Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit of Padmavathi college of pharmacy(PCP), Dharmapuri organised a "Blood Donation Camp" on a part of Republic Day celebration on 28.01.2020 at Government District headquarters Hospital, Krishnagiri. The camp was Inaugurated by Dr.S.Prabhakar,I.A.S., District collector Krishnagiri, Dr.P.Paramasivan,M.S(G.S)., Joint Director of health services Krishnagiri, Dr.D.C.Prem Anand, Principal, Padmavathi college of pharmacy, Dharmapuri and Prof.S.Rajesh Kumar, YRC officer, PCP. The activity of blood donation started at 11:00 AM & there was an overwhelming response from students and faculty members around 120 volunteers participated in the camp a Certificate of Appreciation and refreshment was given to each donors as a token of gratitude.

10th National Voter's day 2020 was Celebrated and taken Pledge observed by our Student's and Faculty member's. This day was observed with the motive of spreading awareness among young voters, about voting to elect a right people's representative from a political party who can fulfill their needs and help in the development of a particular area. Our Student's and Faculty members took pledge to uphold the democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, and to vote in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any inducement’.

Padmavathi college of pharmacy, Students, Teaching & Non-teaching faculties celebrated Christmas on 19.12.2019.

Padmavathi College of Pharmacy, dharmapuri Organized a guest lecture on “Health care and its opportunities” for the students of Pharm.D, M.Pharm, B.Pharm & D.Pharm at college auditorium on 11th December 2019. The speaker for the lecture was Mr. Syed, Head Operation in Professional Info Tech.Coimbature.

Dr.D.C.Prem Anand, Principal, PCP welcomed Mr. Syed for the guest lecture. Prof.S.Rajesh Kumar introduced the Speaker and the topic of the lecture to the students.

In his lecture, Mr. Syed explained briefly about Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Data Management, Medical Coding and Medical Billing. He also introduced the participants to clinical cases and exclusive examples. He shared his own experience in Professional Infotech and opened a door of job opportunities to our students.

The International Yoga day was celebrated in our college campus on 21st June 2019.As a part of it, a one day workshop on “Health benefits of yoga” was conducted in our college auditorium.The programme started exactly at 10.00 am with a prayer song. The chief guest Dr.J.Shiyam Sundar BDS.,and his team from Palacode Isha Yoga centre inaugurated the celebration by lighting the lamp. Our college principal Dr.C.Premanand addressed the students and expressed his views on the importance of the yoga in his presidential address.
A short documentary film was shown to students to highlight the benefits of Yoga. All the students performed the postures as soon as the Yoga expert did.
After the lunch, the program was followed by a Quiz competition with 110 students from D.Pharm, B.Pharm, and Pharm.D. A group of students distributed awareness notice regarding Yoga among the public which had a remarkable effort.
The participants and the winners were honoured by receiving their certificates from the guest of honor and our beloved Principal. Finally,Prof.Dr.Surendharan delivered vote of thanks, followed by National Anthem.
